Have you ever noticed on the news coverage of horrific events, the people jumping
into a freezing river to save others or racing into a burning building to rescue
victims, never, ever stop to ask about religious affliations, ethnic origins,
sexual orintation, or the native language of the rescuee? They don’t care. Because
at that moment, the only thing that matters is perserving life, even sometimes, at
the cost of their own. It happens all over the world everday, young men, old women,
and even little kid heroes.
What I am saying is, this compassion for our fellow humans is in us all. If the
path of our life brings us to the point of a dramatic life savings or just a small
act of kindness, it shows we care.
The internet has brought us all together. Now we are getting to know each other,
and find we are really much more alike than not. We care for each other and our
planet and it shows, more and more everyday.
So, before I leave to spend Christmas with my loved ones, I want to let you Forced
Green readers, from every walk of life, all around this world, know how much I care
and appreciate you and thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your loyalty to Forced
Green is an honor.
